Istanbul Turkish Interior Minister / Ali Yerli Kaya / announced the arrest of 474 people on the background of provocation following the events witnessed by Kayseri province in central Turkey, including 285 with criminal records. Kaya said in a post on the "X" platform today, Tuesday, that 285 of those arrested have criminal records in various crimes such as refugee smuggling, injury, drugs, looting, theft, sexual harassment, fraud, and counterfeiting money. Kaya called on Turkish citizens not to be led by provocations, and to act moderately. He also called on citizens not to commit crimes such as harming people, the environment, and property by illegal means. He stressed that Turkey is a strong country, pledging to hold accountable those who plot these plans and conspiracies "against the Turkish state, people and guests."
