The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in a statement on Wednesday evening that the death toll from the Zionist raids on southern Lebanon rose to 38 dead and 271 wounded, as the raids on towns and villages in the South Governorate resulted in the martyrdom of 18 people and the injury of 183 others, while the ongoing raids and attacks on towns and villages in Nabatieh Governorate throughout Wednesday resulted in the martyrdom of 20 people and the injury of 88 others. The death toll from the raids on towns in Baalbek-Hermel and Bekaa in eastern Lebanon also rose to 12 martyrs and 73 wounded, and the raids on areas and towns in Mount Lebanon Governorate resulted in the martyrdom of 22 people and the injury of 48 others. Lebanon has been subjected to extensive Zionist attacks over the past few days targeting border villages and infrastructure, leading to the martyrdom of more tha n 558 Lebanese and the injury of 1,835 others, while residents of the targeted areas rushed in a large wave of displacement. It is noteworthy that the Zionist entity has escalated its air and artillery attacks on various Lebanese governorates and regions, especially villages and towns in southern Lebanon, coinciding with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th.
