Tehran: The 7th Tehran Virtual Book Fair has started work with the participation of 2,296 publishers. The event is being held from May 16 to 23 under the slogan 'Let's read for Iran' at the online platform https://book.icfi.ir/.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, this edition of the fair sees the registration of 2,296 publishers, including a selection of digital publishers and platforms, alongside 19 foreign publishers or publishing institutions. The participating publishers are offering a 15% discount on their products, while electronic books will be available with a 25% discount from the platform, complemented by an additional 10% discount provided by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
In the segment dedicated to foreign publishers, books published in 2025 and 2026 come with a 10% publisher discount and a 10% subsidy from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Furthermore, books from 2022 to 2025 are being sold with a 25% discount and a 10% subsidy, while works published between 2016 and 2022 are offered with a significant 50% publisher discount.
