The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency announced today, Saturday, the arrest of 9 terrorists from the remnants of ISIS in Salah al-Din Governorate. The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency stated in a statement that "through separate operations, high-level efforts and planning and field follow-up, the Intelligence Agency's detachments specialized in combating terrorism in Salah al-Din were able to arrest (9) wanted suspects, according to Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law, according to duly judicial arrest warrants." The statement added that "upon investigation, they explicitly confessed to their affiliation with the remnants of the terrorist ISIS gangs, and that they had carried out many terrorist attacks in Salah al-Din Governorate and its outskirts at an earlier time," indicating that they "were referred to the competent judicial authorities, to receive their just punishment."
