A fire broke out in Al-Ait orchards, southwest of Baquba, Diyala Governorate Center. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a fire broke out in the orchards of Al-Ait, within the villages of Arab Jabbar, on the outskirts of Bani Saad district, southwest of Baqubah, due to the fall of one of the main electrical wires. He added, "Civil defense teams arrived in the area and were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from expanding to nearby orchards without causing human casualties." On the same level, two fires broke out in two different places in Diyala, the first in a house in Tahrir area on the outskirts of Baquba, causing a child to suffer serious burns, and the second in a residential house in Imam Wais area, northeast of Baquba, without any human casualties recorded.
