Baghdad Operations Command announced, today, Monday, that its units arrested a number of defendants according to various legal articles, including an 'ISIS' terrorist in areas south of Baghdad. The command stated in a statement, 'The forces of the (Seventeenth) Infantry Division and the units attached to it, in coordination with the command's intelligence and security department, carried out pre-emptive regional search and inspection operations that included the areas of (Al-Mahmoudiyah) district and the villages, countryside, and orchards surrounding it, and the areas where Husseini processions spread along the visitors' road.' A number of defendants were arrested in accordance with various legal articles, including an 'ISIS' terrorist who was arrested after his presence was monitored in 'Zambaraniya' area south of Baghdad, and he is wanted according to Article 4/1 of terrorism.
