The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah, and Lieutenant General, Qais Al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, arrived in Diyala Governorate. A statement by the Joint Operations Command stated that the visit comes to review the ongoing preparations to secure the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the security situation, and the redistribution and deployment of units in the governorate, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations, the Commander of the Land Forces, and the Staff Bodies.
