AEOI Chief Criticizes Trump’s Memorandum as Revealing Hostile Intentions Against Iran

Isfahan: Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami has criticized a recent presidential memorandum signed by U.S. President Donald Trump, which aims to restore ‘maximum pressure’ on Iran. Eslami stated that this move reveals the true intentions of adversaries targeting the nation.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Eslami made these remarks on Monday during a rally in Isfahan commemorating the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory. He emphasized that the Iranian populace, motivated by their religious convictions, supported the Islamic Revolution and chose a path centered on freedom and dignity.

Eslami pointed out that since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, global powers have not embraced this choice. He noted that these powers, whom he referred to as “global arrogance,” have continuously attempted to retaliate against Iran by creating challenges for its citizens through various conspiracies.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Eslami highlighted the Iranian nation’s resilience in continuing their chosen path and progressing towards the development of their country. He further remarked that the widespread participation of the Iranian people in nationwide rallies marking the Islamic Revolution’s anniversary was a significant response to their adversaries.

The memorandum signed last week by Trump reinstates a campaign of ‘maximum pressure’ on Iran, echoing a strategy he initiated during his first term.
