Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed that the government encourages the private sector to enter the field of sponsoring sports and athletes. The Prime Minister said in a speech during the Cabinet session held today, "We commend the golden achievement of the champion Najla Imad." He added: "We encourage the private sector to enter the field of sponsoring sports and athletes." The champion Najla Imad returned to the homeland after achieving the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympics in table tennis, while dedicating the victory to the Iraqi people.
