The Turkish Foreign Ministry added in its statement that the joint statement stressed the need to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza without interruption, and the need to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). It explained that her Minister Hakan Fidan stressed during the meetings in which he participated the importance of increasing joint initiatives to make the Palestinian state a "full member" of the United Nations, and for more countries to recognize it, and the need to pressure countries that oppose these steps.
