Doha: The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has condemned the Iranian aggression on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, labeling it an unacceptable attack on Qatar's sovereignty.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Aboul Gheit expressed the Arab League's full solidarity with Qatar in addressing this violation of international law by Iran. He urged for immediate measures to de-escalate the situation to prevent the expansion of the conflict, which could lead to severe consequences.

Aboul Gheit stressed the importance of Arab states' rights to defend and uphold their sovereignty against any form of external aggression. He called for a collective response to safeguard regional stability and prevent further escalation.
