Tehran:The Foreign Minister has openly criticized French President Emmanuel Macron for his contradictory statements concerning Iran's nuclear activities.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi addressed the issue via a post on his X account, highlighting that before the U.S. withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal in 2018, Macron had assured the U.S. Congress that France would remain committed to the JCPOA.

Araghchi pointed out the inconsistency in Macron's recent claims of having always opposed "any form of nuclear activity" in Iran, urging the French President to "get your story straight."
