Tehran:Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has criticized the United States for allegedly covering up the extent of damage to its military aircraft during the conflict with Iran. He referred to a recent report by the US Congressional Research Service highlighting the issue.
Accourding to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi shared on his social media platform that the report initially recorded 42 American military aircraft as damaged by Iran's Armed Forces in May, but this number has now increased to 81. He insisted that the actual toll is significantly higher.
Araghchi further claimed that the US Central Command (CENTCOM) is preventing a sitting Senator from inspecting bases purported to be unaffected, implying a lack of transparency. He concluded his remarks by stating that US officials might be able to deceive people only temporarily.
