Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has emphasized the critical importance of safeguarding national unity and cohesion as essential components for confronting adversities facing Iran. He underscored the Iranian Foreign Ministry's ongoing commitment to defending the nation's interests and rights.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi reviewed the past year's foreign policy developments, marking Iran's robust defense against the comprehensive assault by the Zionist regime and the United States as a pivotal moment in the country's history. He reiterated the notion that preserving national unity is a collective duty and vital for overcoming the challenges posed by external enemies.

Araghchi lauded the Iranian people's determination in protecting the nation and resisting the illegitimate demands of adversaries. He attributed the historic victory to the intelligence and courage of the Leader of the Revolution, the sacrifices of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the solidarity of the Iranian people.

The Foreign Minister also stressed the importance of bolstering national power and authority across different defense sectors, enhancing social capital and national unity, and addressing economic issues. He highlighted the government's relentless efforts, led by the President, to alleviate and resolve economic challenges.
