Tehran: Khalil Hamdan, a member of the Amal Movement's leadership and special envoy of Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, met with Abbas Araghchi on Saturday evening during his visit to Tehran. Hamdan, accompanied by senior members of the movement, traveled to pay tribute to the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the envoy conveyed condolences and solidarity from Speaker Nabih Berri and members of the Amal Movement to the Supreme Leader, the President, the government, and the people of Iran. This expression of sympathy was in regard to the martyrdom of the Islamic Revolution's leader and several Iranian officials and citizens during the US-Zionist imposed war.

Hamdan also acknowledged Iran's steadfast support for Lebanon's territorial integrity and national sovereignty. He expressed gratitude for Iran's commitment to halting aggression from the Zionist regime against the people of Lebanon.

In response, Araghchi thanked the special representative and the Amal Movement delegation for attending the farewell and tribute ceremony for the martyred leader of the Revolution.
