Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stressed: "Iran's attack on the Zionist entity is a legitimate defense within the United Nations charters." Araqchi said in a press conference in Beirut, which he arrived this morning: "We targeted only the military sites of the Zionist entity, and we will respond to any Zionist attack in a stronger and thoughtful manner." He added: "The Lebanese people will emerge victorious, and my presence in Beirut is evidence of Iran's support and standing with Lebanon and its people." He continued: "Our consultations are continuing with other countries to reach a ceasefire, provided that the rights of the Lebanese are taken into account." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
