Tehran:Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has emphasized that the United States will face a significantly greater strategic defeat if it opts for war instead of diplomacy.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi expressed his views in a post on his X account, highlighting Iran's readiness to pursue diplomatic efforts if there is strong evidence of the US's genuine intent to build trust and achieve a fair resolution.

Araghchi asserted that a decision by the US to engage in warfare rather than diplomatic negotiations would undoubtedly lead to an even more severe strategic failure than previous ones.
