The Architecture and Design Commission organized an "Architecture and Design Café" meeting today titled "The King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism and Its Impact on Society." This event featured a group of experts from the sector and aimed to enrich the community, disseminate knowledge, exchange experiences, promote excellence, support national talents, and stimulate the practicing and specialized community in architecture and design. It was held at Al-Zitona Farm for Agricultural and Rural Tourism in the Al-Baha region. During the meeting, various topics related to the King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism were discussed, focusing on its societal impact. The discussion highlighted six core values: authenticity, continuity, human-centricity, livability, innovation, and sustainability. Each value was examined for its importance, goals, and relevance to design principles that need to be upheld. The Architecture and Design Café series offers a unique knowledge-sharing experience aimed a t all segments of society interested in architecture and design, including academics, specialists, practitioners, and university students.
