Tehran: The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps' (IRGC) Ground Force, Brigadier General Mohammad Karami, has announced that the Armed Forces have successfully thwarted enemy conspiracies in the northwest and southeast regions of Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Karami underscored the strategic approach adopted by the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, which emphasized modern technologies and immediate preparedness. This approach led to a defensive redesign following a 12-day war, under the directive of Ayatollah Khamenei. The effectiveness of this strategy was demonstrated by the decisive response executed just two hours after the commanders' martyrdom during the Ramadan War.

General Karami highlighted the shift of enemy tactics to hybrid warfare, but reiterated that Iran's monotheistic faith is the primary factor amplifying its real strength. He emphasized that this spiritual belief is the cornerstone of the nation's resilience and success against adversarial threats.

Ayatollah Khamenei was martyred in a coordinated US-Israeli terror attack on Tehran on February 28, 2026. This event marked the beginning of a 40-day war of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, characterized by staunch national resistance and retaliatory actions by the Iranian Armed Forces. The conflict eventually forced the aggressors to halt their military operations.
