Tehran: The Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army, Major General Amir Hatami, declares that those who assassinated the Leader of the Islamic Revolution must know that the Iranian nation and its forces will not relent in holding them accountable.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Hatami, in remarks made on Sunday, stated that the late Leader had charted 'a path of honor, dignity, independence and pride,' and had set the groundwork for the nation to continue on this path. He highlighted the commitment of the Armed Forces to serve under Ayatollah Khamenei and assured that they would proceed with 'strength and absolute determination' in supporting the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.

Hatami recounted a significant moment of paying respects to the new leader, expressing to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei that those responsible for the assassination of the martyred Leader must understand that the Iranian nation, along with its forces, will not allow them to evade justice. 'This is a definite matter, and we will pursue it,' Hatami emphasized.
