Tehran: Iran will not be a testing ground for enemy plots or adventurism, Army Chief Commander Major General Amir Hatami says, warning that the Armed Forces will respond decisively to any aggression and defend Iran's independence, territorial integrity, and security.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Hatami emphasized the readiness and determination of the Armed Forces during his address to the commanders of the northeastern regional headquarters of the Army Ground Forces. He highlighted the ongoing threats posed by adversaries who continue to plot against Iran after failing to achieve their objectives.
Hatami assured that the military is vigilant in monitoring the enemy's objectives and is prepared to confront any scenario. He described modern warfare as a struggle involving the will, ideas, and resilience of nations, rather than just the use of weapons and military equipment.
The Army Chief stressed the importance of thwarting enemy plans and preventing them from achieving their objectives against Iran. He underscored the need to make any failure so bitter for the enemy that they realize Iran is not a place where external forces can dictate changes.
Hatami also mentioned the key pillars of his orders, which include strengthening coordination among the Armed Forces, improving combat capabilities, promoting awareness and spirituality, and enhancing personnel welfare. These priorities remain central to preparing the Armed Forces for future threats.
