Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested 47 beggars and violators of the terms and conditions of the Residence and Nationality Department in a number of areas on the Rusafa side. A statement by the Baghdad Operations Command stated that the security forces in the Baghdad Operations Command, through the departments of the Rusafa Police Command and the Rusafa Rescue Police Directorate, in their campaigns to pursue begging gangs and eliminate this phenomenon in all areas of Rusafa, where 47 beggars and violators of the terms and conditions of the Residence and Nationality Department were arrested, including women and children, in the areas of (Karrada, Zaafaraniya, New Baghdad, Al-Shaab) on the Rusafa side, and the necessary legal measures were taken against them. It stressed that our security forces are continuing their campaigns in all areas with the aim of preventing these beggars from being present in the streets, roads and public intersections.
