Najaf Crime Control arrested a gang that kidnapped a citizen in the governorate. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: "The Najaf Governorate Police Command, after receiving information about a kidnapping of a citizen that occurred in the village of Al-Ghadeer, immediately formed a working team headed by the governorate Police Chief, and the membership of the Director of Najaf Crime Control, the officer of the Kidnapping Division, and a group of officers and members of the division, where the kidnapped person was searched and investigated, and surveillance cameras were used. After setting up ambushes, the kidnapped person was freed and the kidnappers were arrested. They are three accused, whose statements were recorded and they confessed to the crime attributed to them.
