Tehran: Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has described the issue of Palestine as the most universal cause for justice and solidarity. ‘Palestine remains the most universal cause for justice and solidarity, and the deepest wound in human conscience,’ Baqaei wrote on his X account on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on Sunday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei emphasized the ongoing genocide of Palestinians by the occupying apartheid regime, which continues with full impunity granted by the United States and its allies. He highlighted the international community’s legal and moral responsibility to support the Palestinian people’s legitimate resistance to end occupation and secure their fundamental human right to self-determination, not just through words but through effective action.

The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is observed annually on November 29, serving as a reminder of the global commitment required to address the Palestinian struggle for justice and self-determination.
