Belarus Ready to Expand Cultural Cooperation with Iran: Minister

Minsk: Belarusian Minister of Culture Marat Markov has announced that his country is prepared to strengthen cultural ties with Iran. During a meeting on Saturday with Iran's Ambassador to Minsk, Alireza Sanei, Markov highlighted the friendly relations between the two countries and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in film and cinema.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the meeting also included expressions of sympathy from Markov towards the Iranian people, acknowledging the damages and casualties suffered during the recent conflict involving the US and Israel against Iran.

The Iranian ambassador reciprocated the sentiment, expressing Tehran's desire to expand cultural relations with Minsk. Sanei also presented images of Iranian cultural sites that were damaged in the conflict, aiming to inform the Belarusian minister about the anti-cultural and inhumane actions conducted by the US and Israel.
