US President Joe Biden expressed his confidence that there will be no significant development today, Thursday, regarding the Israeli response to Iran, following the missile attack carried out by Tehran against Israel. In brief statements he made to reporters before leaving the White House, Biden said: "Nothing will happen today (Thursday)." Biden continued, when asked whether he would allow Israel to respond to Iran: "First and foremost, we do not allow Israel, we advise Israel, and nothing will happen today." The US President revealed that there are "discussions" underway about the possibility of Israel launching strikes against Iranian oil facilities. When asked if he supports Israel striking those facilities, Biden said: "We are having discussions about this issue. "I think it will be a little bit... anyway," he said without finishing his sentence, according to the Times of Israel. Biden said on Wednesday that Iran would be subject to new sanctions in response to its missile attack on Israel, while no ting at the same time that he does not support strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
