Tehran: Chinese and Russian warships have entered the Iranian territorial waters to participate in the 'Security Belt 2025' naval exercise in the northern Indian Ocean. The exercise, codenamed 'Security Belt 2025,' will commence on Monday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, observers from the Azerbaijan Republic, South Africa, Oman, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Qatar, Iraq, the UAE, and Sri Lanka will monitor the exercise. Vessels from the Iranian Navy and the Naval Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) will participate in the drills, marking the seventh edition of the 'Security Belt' exercises conducted by Iran, Russia, and China.
