Baghdad: Sudanese Minister of Education Mahmoud Sirr Al-Khatim Al-Hawri died in a hotel in Dokki, central Giza, Egypt. The Sudanese Embassy in Cairo was notified and the necessary report was prepared, while the Public Prosecution Office took over the investigation. Al-Hawri led the educational process in Sudan, during a difficult period, as the war broke out between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in mid-April 2023, which caused the collapse of the educational process, and exams for some stages were held in Egypt.
