The death toll from widespread floods and landslides caused by a tropical storm that struck the Philippines has risen to 110, and at least 42 people still missing.The Philippine National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported that tropical storm Trami has affected more than 5.9 million people in 16 regions nationwide. Authorities continue the search for the 42 missing individuals who may have been buried by landslides or swept away by floods.The Philippine Coast Guard announced today that more than 8,000 people remain stranded at seaports.
