Defense Minister Warns of U.S. Withdrawal if Aggression Occurs

Tehran: Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh has issued a stark warning that any aggression resulting from failed nuclear negotiations will compel the United States to withdraw from the region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Nasirzadeh, speaking to reporters during a cabinet session, highlighted the current state of indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the U.S. He expressed concern over threatening remarks from some officials on the opposing side, suggesting that a conflict might ensue if no agreement is reached.

Nasirzadeh emphasized that in the event of such a conflict, the U.S. would have no option but to leave the region. He pointed out that all U.S. bases are within the reach of Iranian military capabilities and that Iran would not hesitate to target these bases in their respective host countries.

Furthermore, Nasirzadeh praised Iran’s advancements in defense, noting the recent successful test of a missile with a two-ton warhead. He asserted that Iran would not accept any military limitations and that negotiations on such matters are strictly off the table.
