Tehran: Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad has declared that the Strait of Hormuz will not revert to its pre-war conditions, emphasizing that both the United States and Israel have come to understand that military actions are ineffective in reopening the critical maritime passage.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Nikzad addressed a virtual open session of parliament, where he highlighted Iran's efforts during the conflict to engage in dialogue and demonstrate the realities on the ground to dissuade what he referred to as the 'aggressor and delusional enemy.' He asserted that the American and Zionist forces now recognize that there is no military solution to the issue of reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and they must accommodate the new regional dynamics.

Nikzad further explained that Iran, in discussions with Oman, a neighboring ally, has made it clear that any navigation route must be mutually agreed upon by these two nations. He specified that the path delineated by Iran's Armed Forces remains the sole viable route for ships, contingent upon adherence to the conditions mandated by the Iranian government.

He reiterated the unity of all government branches under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing their commitment to executing his directives.

Nikzad also expressed gratitude towards government agencies and service providers for their continuous efforts in organizing the travel and pilgrimage for approximately 3.4 million Iranians during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. He extended his appreciation to the Iraqi government and citizens for their hospitality towards Iranian pilgrims during the Arbaeen events.
