Diwaniyah Governor Abbas Al-Zamili announced that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani approved 18 projects within the service effort plan. Al-Zamili said in a statement that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani approved 18 projects within the service and engineering effort plan for the year 2025." He added that "the plan included projects to rehabilitate neighborhoods, extend and equip networks and install water complexes, in addition to implementing electrical networks in the governorate center, its districts and sub-districts."
