Egypt's Ambassador to Athens Omar Amer and Greek Minister of Labor and Social Security Niki Kerameus discussed means to boost fields of joint cooperation. Both sides discussed the actual start of the implementation of an agreement on seasonal labor to contribute to providing several work opportunities in a legal and safe way for the Egyptian labor in Greece, thus contributing to limiting illegal emigration. Kerameus asserted Greece's keenness on benefiting from the Egyptian expertise in the field of agriculture and securing all the rights of the Egyptian labor. She welcomed getting more Egyptian labor in the fields of construction, building and tourism in addition to other labor fields in Greece, lauding the efficiency of the Egyptian labor.
