Deputy Minister of Health and Population Dr Mohamed El Tayyeb held a meeting on Wednesday9/10/2024 with representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). They discussed means to increase cooperation between the two sides in the fields of mechanization and digital transformation at the health sector, upon the directives of Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, to improve administrative performance. Health ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said in press statements that the meeting focused on expanding the digital transformation to maintain transparency and combat corruption. The participants discussed means to train medics with the aim of improving health sector performance.
