Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices showed mixed performance at the close of Sunday's trading, backed by strong purchases by local institutions and investment funds. The market capital registered EGP 2.037 trillion after total transactions amounted to approximately EGP 10.787 billion. The EGX 30 benchmark index declined 0.57 percent, standing at 29,460.24 points. The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) rose 1.08 percent, closing at 6,725.36 points.
