Tehran: Chief Commander of Iran's Army Major General Amir Hatami has stated that the United States and the Israeli regime realized during the recent imposed war against Iran that the nation's bond with the Islamic Republic is far stronger than they had expected.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a ceremony honoring Lieutenant General Mohammad Bagheri, the late Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Hatami described Bagheri's martyrdom as a reward for years of dedicated effort and struggle. He emphasized Bagheri's crucial role over the past 20 years in preparing the armed forces, portraying him as a perfect role model for everyone, particularly the younger generation.

Major General Hatami highlighted the readiness of the forces to counter threats. Despite the profound loss of commanders through martyrdom, he remarked that it becomes evident to the enemy that the foundation of the revolution and the bond between the nation and the Islamic Republic are far stronger than perceived.

In his address, he underscored the capabilities of Iran's armed forces in confronting adversaries, particularly during the 12-Day War and the Ramadan War. He noted that the enemies, through their miscalculations, attempted to inflict serious damage on the Islamic Republic but ultimately failed and will never achieve their malicious goals.
