Baghdad: Deputy Chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari has reiterated the preparedness of the Iranian Army to counter any threat against the country, noting that in case of any war, the enemy will suffer "severe damage."

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a ceremony held in Tehran on Wednesday, Sayyari emphasized the constant readiness of the Iranian military forces. He stated, 'We are always ready around the clock,' underscoring the army's vigilance and preparedness to respond to threats on land, in the air, or at sea.

Rear Admiral Sayyari further warned that the enemy must consider the potential consequences of any aggressive actions, highlighting that such actions would result in significant damage. His comments come amid increased tensions, with the United States bolstering its military presence near Iran and President Donald Trump threatening possible military action.
