Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad discussed during a meeting with Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) Mohamed Zaki el Sewedy promising investment opportunities in green industry and the support offered by the Ministry of Environment to the industrial sector in Egypt. During the meeting, Fouad said her ministry is a real supporter of Egypt's industrial sector. This message has to be clearly conveyed to investors, the minister said, urging work on changing the perception of the environmental sector from a hindrance to industry to a supporter and catalyst. In this regard, Fouad welcomed the FEI head's invitation to forums organized by the federation with a view to highlighting the importance of the environmental sector and green transition as well as introducing ways to provide the necessary backing to the industrial sector in Egypt.
