Brussels: High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has condemned the political use of humanitarian aid in Gaza by the Israeli regime and calls for immediate facilitation of the delivery of aid to the people of the region.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Kaja Kallas stated that all European countries are unified in their condemnation of Israel's military use of humanitarian aid. She stressed the urgency of ensuring that such aid reaches those in dire need within Gaza. "So, on Gaza, everybody condemned the politicization of humanitarian aid. Humanitarian aid has to reach the people in need in Gaza, and we were also welcoming the Arab peace plan or Arab reconstruction plan for Gaza," she emphasized.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has escalated to critical levels in recent months due to intensified Israeli attacks and stringent restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid. International organizations have repeatedly sounded alarms over the worsening situation for civilians, highlighting severe shortages of food, medicine, and drinking water.
