Tehran: A former member of the Russian State Duma has expressed admiration for Iran's martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, describing him as a figure embodying 'wisdom, courage, and a heroic life.'

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sergey Baburin, in his interview, emphasized Ayatollah Khamenei's role as 'a true warrior' who sought martyrdom on the battlefield. Baburin shared his personal experiences, expressing his satisfaction with having met Iran's martyr Leader on several occasions.

Baburin highlighted Ayatollah Khamenei's openness in communication and sincerity, noting that his perspective on the liberation of Holy Quds and Palestine, along with his focus on spiritual values, served as an exemplar.

Discussing the US-Israeli military actions against Iran, Baburin remarked on the efforts by Western forces to undermine the spiritual and genuine life in the Islamic Republic of Iran, which he stated ultimately failed. He condemned the assassination of Iran's Leader, labeling it not only a crime but a significant sin for all involved, whether they executed the act or orchestrated it.
