Islamabad: The spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee says the empathy and vigilance will foil any divisive plots of the enemies against the Islamic Republic. In an interview with IRNA on Sunday night, Ebrahim Rezaei emphasized the necessity of maintaining internal unity and cohesion, calling them Iran's most important assets for overcoming challenges.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Rezaei pointed to the recent Israeli and American efforts of sowing discord and division. He stressed that unity and cohesion are needed more than ever in Iran, urging all segments of society, including the general public, officials, as well as political and civic groups, to move with empathy and synergy towards strengthening the country's authority and security.

Rezaei further called on the people to set aside differences, arguing that while there may be different points of view on some issues, these should not turn into confrontations that give room to enemies to exploit. He hailed Iran's Armed Forces for their vigilance against any military mischief by enemies, stating they are fully prepared not only to deal with threats and aggression but also to keep improving the country's deterrence capabilities continuously.

Rezaei also referred to Iran's position in the region, stressing that the country requires internal unity and vigilance against the conspiracies of enemies, along with a strong defense, to maintain its authority.
