Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has emphasized that enhancing the friendly and brotherly relations between Tehran and Baghdad is a top priority in Iran's foreign policy.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi, in a post on his X account in Arabic on Thursday, referred to the formation of Iraq's new government, noting that expanding brotherly and friendly relations between Tehran and Baghdad is a top priority for Iran's foreign policy. He congratulated the establishment of the new Iraqi government under Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi and welcomed the reinstatement of Fouad Hussein as Iraq's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
