Tehran: A series of explosions were heard in Iran's capital as US-Israel attacks continued, Anadolu Ajansi reported, citing Iranian media on Sunday. The Fars News Agency stated that explosions were reported in various parts of Tehran.
According to Nam News Network, several cities, including Isfahan, Tabriz, and Qom, were also targeted in attacks overnight, as reported by Iran-based Nournews. The regional escalations have continued to intensify since Israel and the US launched an offensive against Iran on February 28, resulting in the deaths of more than 1,300 individuals, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran has responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory actions have caused casualties and damage to infrastructure, while also disrupting global markets and aviation.
