Fayhan Reaffirms Support for Fair Legislation for Martyrs’ Families and Wounded

Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi affirmed on Friday the renewal of his commitment to supporting legislation and policies that ensure fairness for the families of martyrs and the wounded.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Fayhan expressed his sentiments in a statement commemorating the anniversary of the liberation of Mosul. He highlighted the historic significance of the event, recalling the unity and solidarity of Iraqis in response to the fatwa of sufficient jihad issued by The Supreme Religious Authority. This pivotal moment marked a turning point in the battle for liberation, overpowering terrorism and restoring Iraq's sovereignty and dignity.

Fayhan underscored that the victory against terrorism was achieved through the sacrifices of martyrs and the heroic efforts of the wounded from various factions, including the Iraqi Army, Federal Police, Counter-Terrorism Service, Popular Mobilization Forces, and tribal fighters. Their sacrifices were instrumental in restoring Iraq's security and unity, shattering the grip of terrorism.

As the nation commemorates this significant victory, Fayhan reiterated his commitment to supporting legislation that safeguards the rights of martyrs' families and the wounded. He emphasized the importance of preserving the achievements of victory, reinforcing state institutions, and upholding the rule of law.
