During a meeting on Monday with heads of national media organisations and editors-in-chief and board directors of national and private newspapers in Egypt, the minister reviewed the most pressing issues currently dominating Egypt's foreign policy agenda. The head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation (SCMR) Karam Gabr, the head of the National Press Authority (NPA); Abdel Sadiq el-Shorbagy, and Diaa Rashwan, head of the State Information Service (SIS). The discussions covered Egypt's assessment of regional challenges and crises, its relationships with international partners, as well as the country's initiatives in these areas, Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement.
