Foreign Minister: Gaza Remains a Symbol of Resistance and Oppression

Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has described the attacks on lines of starving people in Gaza, who are waiting to receive basic necessities like bread, water, and humanitarian aid, as a clear example of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araqchi emphasized that Gaza continues to symbolize resistance and oppression. He highlighted the resilience of its people, who have endured 22 months of ongoing crimes by the Israeli regime. Araqchi shared these sentiments on his X account, expressing that despite Israel’s tactics, which include the imposition of forced thirst and hunger, the resolve of Gaza’s people remains unbroken.

Araqchi called on the international community and human rights advocates in the West to be held accountable for the bloodshed of 1,000 innocent people caught in what he described as death traps at aid distribution centers. He also noted the plight of over 600 individuals who have perished during the 140-day siege due to shortages of medicine, food, and water in Gaza.

He concluded by stating that history and the conscience of humanity will judge the inaction of those who have failed to intervene in this crisis.
