The newspaper added that British Border Force officials found several bags containing a large amount of drugs in the possession of Jay Emmanuel Thomas, the striker player, on a flight from Bangkok, Thailand on September 2. The newspaper added that the drugs, worth £600,000, were confiscated at Stansted Airport in England, and the player's position and the extent of his involvement in the incident have not yet been determined.
