Gaza Death Toll Rises to 72,061 as Israeli Attacks Continue

Gaza: The total number of Palestinian people killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli-imposed war has risen to 72,061 amid continued attacks by the regime's forces.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, citing the Gaza Health Ministry, the Shehab news agency reported that 10 people were killed and nine others wounded in the past 24 hours. The ministry announced that since a ceasefire was announced on October 11, 2025, at least 601 people have been killed and 1,607 injured, while the bodies of 726 victims were recovered during the same period.

Since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023, the number of wounded has climbed to 171,715, the ministry added. The Popular Resistance Committees condemned early Sunday attacks targeting tents sheltering displaced civilians in Khan Younis and the Jabalia Refugee Camp, describing them as war crimes aimed at prolonging the conflict against the Palestinian people.

In a statement, the committees said the attacks reflected a fascist mentality and added that the Israeli regime is evading any lasting ceasefire while continuing military operations under false pretexts. They also held the United States fully responsible, describing it as the main political and military backer of the Israeli regime.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed that at least 10 people were killed and several others injured in Sunday's attacks on Khan Younis and Jabalia.
