Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi today received in Riyadh the Russian Federation ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sergey Kozlov. They discussed the preparations for the 7th annual Strategic Dialogue meeting of the foreign ministers of the GCC and Russia, to be held September 9 at the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh. Albudaiwi emphasized that the meeting comes as a result of both sides' mutual desire and confirmation of the importance of continuous coordination and consultation to enhance Gulf-Russian relations. He added that the meeting's agenda will cover several topics related to the development of mutual interests.
