Contestants from all over the world have started arriving in Riyadh to take part in the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO), held alongside the third edition of the Global AI Summit. Scheduled to take place on September 8-12, 2024, this Olympiad is a collaborative effort between the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) and the International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI); it is held under the UNESCO auspices. This competition, organized by the Saudi Data and AI Authority, serves as a global stage for AI contests. It aims to foster talented individuals and enhance their abilities, as well as to provide a forum for scientists and enthusiasts to share knowledge and explore the latest advancements in this important domain. Each country will field a team of up to four students who will compete individually over two days during the Global AI Summit.
